Production occurs within the Preserve. The Preserve does not exist merely to support production.
03Mauka → Makai
One watershed. Three living ecologies.
Forest, provision garden and water overlap at their edges. The journey descends with rain, nutrients, labor and return.

The Living Forest
Koa, kukui, selected support forest and māmaki form habitat, useful understory and a patient craft-forestry future. Sugi remains a small experimental grove—not the forest’s purpose.
Food does not replace forest. It enters into relationship with it.
‘Ulu and ice-cream banana shelter cacao; ginger and turmeric occupy the understory; culinary herbs, flowers, pollinator strips, seed plots and nursery zones complete the guild.
Rain feeds catchment, storage and food-production aquaponics. Raft beds support greens, propagation and culinary herbs while wildlife water remains separately managed.

04The Watershed Story
Follow the water.
Water is held in distinct systems. Potable, irrigation and aquaponic water are never represented as interchangeable.
The Seed signifies potential. The geometry suggests relation. The ecology determines the planting.

Virtue in material form.
Only after land, water, species and evidence are visible do seven contemplative stations enter as instruments of human formation—not substances that make crops grow.

07.5Stewardship as Training
Capable of worthy labor.
The Body of Olympus is not trained merely to possess strength. It is trained to become capable of worthy labor.
The Soul of Zion governs how that strength is used.
