Prelude
The divine order
The Seeker
Master, if destiny proceeds from God, how does it become the life I now experience?
The Voice
You must first understand the divine order.
Many seek to change the outer result while neglecting the inner builder.
Creation proceeds in lawful sequence.
Invert this order, and confusion follows.
Honor it, and destiny becomes intelligible.
Living source
Spirit
Seeker
What is Spirit?
Voice
Spirit is Life itself.
Before there was form,
before there was thought,
before there was motion,
there was the Living One.
Spirit is not merely an influence upon life.
Spirit is Life.
It is the eternal “I AM” from which every living thing receives being.
Spirit does not construct.
Spirit quickens.
Spirit gives purpose.
Spirit gives identity.
Spirit gives the possibility that anything may exist at all.
The workshop of creation
Mind
Seeker
If Spirit is Life, why is Mind necessary?
Voice
Because Life seeks expression.
Mind is the workshop of creation.
Mind receives the impulse of Spirit and gives it form.
Every idea…
every decision…
every imagination…
every affection…
every fear…
every hope…
becomes material from which Mind constructs.
Mind is always building.
It cannot cease.
The question is never whether the mind builds.
The question is what pattern it is following.
When the mind aligns with Spirit,
it builds harmony.
When it separates itself from Spirit,
it builds confusion.
The law itself never changes.
The harvest
The Physical
Seeker
Then what is the body?
Voice
The body is the harvest.
It is the visible testimony of invisible processes.
The physical world continually announces what Mind has been constructing under the influence of Spirit—or apart from it.
Thus the body is not the origin of life.
Neither is circumstance.
The body is the present expression of deeper realities.
As seed becomes tree,
so thought becomes action,
action becomes habit,
habit becomes character,
and character impresses itself upon the very substance of life.
The physical continually reveals the architecture Mind has built.
The choosing center
The Soul
Seeker
Where, then, does the soul stand?
Voice
The soul is that within man capable of conscious communion with Spirit.
Spirit is Life.
Mind builds.
The soul chooses.
The soul determines to whom the mind shall listen.
Thus every day the soul asks one question:
Will Mind build according to the Spirit, or according to the appetites of the world?
Therein lies free will.
Perfect order
The Christ
Seeker
What did Christ restore?
Voice
Perfect order.
He demonstrated the complete harmony of the divine pattern.
Spirit fully governed His being.
Mind perfectly interpreted Spirit.
Therefore His body became the perfect servant of Life.
This is why Scripture declares that flesh and blood cannot inherit eternal life.
It is not because matter is evil.
It is because matter alone cannot generate eternity.
Only when Mind becomes fully governed by Spirit may the physical participate in the life everlasting.
Christ revealed not the rejection of the body, but its rightful government.
Progressive incarnation
Destiny
Seeker
Then destiny is not chance?
Voice
Never.
Destiny is the lawful unfolding of Spirit through Mind into manifestation.
The soul continually determines whether Mind shall build according to the image of God or according to the images of the passing world.
Thus destiny is not imposed.
It is progressively incarnated.
Every thought lays another stone.
Every choice raises another beam.
Every act completes another chamber within the temple of life.
The smallest testimony
The Atomic Witness
Seeker
And what of the atom itself?
Voice
Even the smallest portion of creation witnesses to this law.
The Creative Mind is the formative principle behind every expression of nature.
The physical universe is not self-originating.
It is the visible consequence of invisible intelligence.
Thus every atom bears witness—not that matter is ultimate—but that Life precedes form, Mind orders form, and form reveals the pattern it has received.
