Coordinate the 2nd and 3rd dorsal for a general stimulation and regulating impulse to the vagus nerve. Anatomical correction should first be considered, followed by regulation of physiological function. They needn’t be disassociated though as they may both occur in the same treatment.

Conditions of irritability and nervousness may be replaced with a normal and natural condition. Regulate vasomotor area then regulate the 4th and 8th dorsal. The first will regulate circulation and the second will equalize secretion.

By first adjusting the atlas, the pneumo-gastric nervous system and phrenic system are effected. By adjustment of the upper cervical, the vasomotor area, circulation of blood and all other bodily fluids are regulated. From the 1st to 4th dorsal influence is had over the pyloric end of the stomach and the lungs; 4th to 12th influence is had over the abdominal viscera; with further regulation by the dorsal and lumbar nerves.
