A Journey into Divine Unity

Christ Consciousness and the I AM Principle

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Today, let us turn our hearts and minds to a mystery so profound, so encompassing, that it draws us into the very depths of Divine love—the call to embody Christ consciousness and the eternal “I AM” principle. This path invites us to recognize ourselves as part of a cosmic unity, a tapestry woven from God’s own heart. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30), He was showing us the way, revealing the possibility of an unbroken union with the Divine. In Christ, we find the perfect model of unity, a calling to live as vessels through which God’s love, mercy, and wisdom flow into the world.

The I AM Principle: A Revelation of Divine Presence

When God revealed Himself to Moses as “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14), He opened a doorway into understanding His eternal, unchanging presence. This revelation points beyond simple self-awareness; it invites us to realize that our existence is not separate from God but is held in the very being of God. Jesus took this truth further when He said, “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58), identifying Himself with the timeless essence of God.
In the New Testament, Christ becomes the Divine Logos—the living Word that sustains all creation. This Logos is not merely a distant force; it is alive, intimate, and personal. Every time we receive the Eucharist, we participate in this Logos, encountering Christ as both the eternal Word and the Divine Presence within us. The Eucharist is a cosmic mystery: through it, we enter into communion not just with Christ but with all creation, united in the one Body of Christ. In this sacrament, we touch eternity, experiencing the infinite love of God made present and tangible.

Living in the Sacred Heart of Christ: The Pulse of Divine Unity

The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a symbol of God’s unyielding love for humanity, a heart that beats with compassion for each of us. To live in the Sacred Heart is to align our lives with the Divine pulse, allowing our actions, words, and thoughts to flow from this center of love. It is a call to become conduits of Divine grace, participating in the work of God’s Kingdom here on Earth.
When we open ourselves to this heart-centered life, we become part of a divine current, a spiraling movement toward God. Each act of love and every moment of compassion radiates outward like waves, creating ripples that draw the world closer to the Divine. This is the rhythm of Divine harmony, and when we live in tune with it, our lives become expressions of God’s love, woven into the very fabric of creation.

The Mystery of the Sacraments: Channels of Divine Grace

Our journey of faith is not solitary; it is supported by the grace of the sacraments, which serve as sacred channels through which God’s love flows into our lives. Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, and Reconciliation—each sacrament is a doorway, a moment of profound communion with the Divine. They are not merely rituals but encounters with Christ Himself, who sanctifies us and draws us ever deeper into His Sacred Heart.
The sacraments are also cosmic mysteries; they transform us from within, aligning us with the life of Christ and connecting us to the universal Church. In these moments, we experience the Divine breath, the ruach, which animates us and fills us with the strength to carry God’s light into the world. Through the sacraments, we are called to become living tabernacles, carrying Christ’s presence into every facet of our lives.

The Call to Divine Participation: Becoming Vessels of Christ’s Love

Christ consciousness is not merely an individual journey; it is a cosmic call to participate in the Divine life, to become co-creators with God. As Saint Teresa of Avila reminds us, “Christ has no body now but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours.” This profound statement invites us to embody Christ’s presence in our daily lives, to see our hands as His hands, our words as His words.
To live out this calling is to recognize the Divine in every moment, every encounter, and every person we meet. It is to become attuned to the rhythm of God’s love, moving through the world as ambassadors of His peace and compassion. The I AM principle calls us to embrace a larger identity, seeing ourselves as part of the Body of Christ, a single, unified organism through which God’s love flows to all creation.

Our Journey into Divine Unity: A Prayerful Commitment

As we reflect on these mysteries, we are invited to deepen our commitment to God, to allow Christ’s love to reshape us from within. May we become like Mary, who carried the Christ within her with profound trust and humility. And may we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who breathes life into us and transforms us into instruments of God’s peace.
In this journey, we are never alone. We are part of a vast communion of saints, a cloud of witnesses who walk with us, supporting and inspiring us to live lives of holiness. Together, we are called to build the Kingdom of God on Earth, a Kingdom where love, mercy, and justice reign.
Dear friends in Christ, may we answer this call with open hearts. Let us align ourselves with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, becoming vessels through which His love and wisdom flow into the world. In this union, we participate in a cosmic symphony, a movement of Divine love that draws all creation toward God. Let us walk this path with faith and courage, knowing that in Christ, we are forever united with the Source of all that is.
And may the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Him, now and forever.

Amen
